Crystal will be 6 years old January 21, 2007. She has always been very active. She started in pageants at age 3. After winning many titles and traveling all over to compete, she decided to slow down and take up cheerleading at age 4. She liked dance more than cheering so she then asked to be in dance. She started with Missy in October 2005. She loves dance so much that she has just about quit the pageant scene. Crystal is also an avid go-kart race fan. Both her daddy and older brother race. Next season she will be the only girl out on the track with a pack of boys in her own pink go-kart. She has said that she wants a pink kart with purple crowns all over it and ballet shoes on the number plates. Of course she will be #1. She would like to try her hands, or feet, at soccer this spring. Crystal takes ballet, tap, and jazz. She is excited to attend competitions with Missy, the other teachers, and the dancers this year. There is no place she is happier than on the stage. She is also very excited about becoming a member of The Sparkles this year. She dances all over her house imitating Faithe's moves and Sabrina's hip-hop dancing. She will tell you that she can't wait to be age 7 to take clogging and age 10 to take hip-hop. Missy is such a wonderful dance instructor. She keeps her students up beat and wanting more. Pageants were a part of Crystal's life, but now she will tell you it's "Miss Missy." Anyone can teach a child dance, but Missy teaches poise, character, and discipline as well. Missy is such a special person in Crystal's life. She can't wait for dance class each week.
